Welcome to Rhetoric and Writing Studies at the University of Texas at El Paso!
We’re thrilled you’re here; this Wiki is a space you can return to again and again, and it serves as a changing yet stable repository of information, tips, and guidance concerning the doctoral program in Rhetoric and Writing Studies. We’re employing a semi-open architecture here, so that current faculty and students can add or update information when appropriate; at the same time, we welcome any and all who may be interested in our program, or in rhetoric and writings studies in general.
If you are interested in learning more about RWS @ UTEP, this is of course a great place to start. We also encourage you to check out our official program website here. In addition, we also encourage you to contact us directly—we’re always interested in collaborative community projects, in speaking about writing and rhetoric in the greater El Paso/Juárez area, and most of all, in hearing from prospective students for both the MA and PhD programs.
